Hair Transplant Procedure


Hair transplant is a surgical technique that removes hair follicles from one part of the body, called the donor area, to a bald or balding part of the body known as the recipient area. This procedure used to treat male pattern baldness. In this minimally spreading procedure, grafts containing hair follicles that are genetically resistant to balding are transplanted to the bald scalp. Hair transplant can also be used to restore eyelashes, eyebrows, beard hair and chest hair. 















In case treatment not done properly, there could be minor effect of hair transplant. Hair transplant procedure is a surgical treatment which takes 6-8 hours. This duration depends upon the following factors.

To get the best result of hair transplant surgery takes some precaution to try to avoid short haircut from a back side of the head, do not inhale smoke and drinks before hair transplant treatment etc.


The expertise of the surgeon and operating team.
When choosing the expertise of the surgeon and operating team, the level of experience and expertise of your chosen team will directly impact the success of your treatment. You should be realistic about the possibilities and understand how hair transplant surgery treatments work. If the operating team has no experience then there could be some impact of hair transplant surgery.


The number of follicles to be transplanted
The number of grafts or roots to be implanted in hair transplant surgery on the scalp is totally depending on physically appearance baldness on the scalp.


Quality and site of Donor area
Good quality donor means hair roots with good density and thickness. If grafts are healthy less time will yield more result but if miniaturization of grafts is more then it will take more time. A site of the donor also alters the time taken in the surgery.

The hair transplant technique, Whether FUT Hair Transplant or FUE Hair Transplant does not affect much the duration of the surgery if the operating team is trained in both techniques.
